Collection: The Opium Collection

A core childhood memory I have when I think of dressing up in my mothers wardrobe is the distinct scent she loved by the late Yves Saint Laurent. A staple of hers til today. My mothers wardrobe was my playground of choice, it was the most exclusive club I could be a part of. This collection is a dedication and homage to my style icon, my muse, my inspiration in life; my mother. 

‏I attribute my deep love for art, beauty and design to her, which perhaps is the reason I am a designer today. My mother and I worked on designing each one of these pieces by selecting our favorite cuts, colors and textures to create this collection together. Our tastes overlap of course, she tones down my maximal side and I add an unexpected edge to the elegance and sheer sophistication she brings to my designs. I’ve always been guided by her advice when I’m designing and feel so blessed to have her inspire me and bring me out of my creative blocks.

This collection is everything very mama, my everything.
